Notes

First day home from a trip is often just settling back into being home for a while. It’s nice to be sitting next to the wife again talking about things, catching up, watching some idle television on the couch together, and so on. After all, if you don’t want to be next to someone, if it isn’t a pleasure as high as anything in your life, why be married to that person?

So I enjoyed my time next to my wife to the exclusion of most everything else. I did end up getting Scrivener installed on the PC and knocked out a few hundred words, so that was a win. But I ended up petering out toward the part of the night where I’d usually work out, which was disappointing to me. I’m getting a tooth pulled tomorrow and won’t be able to ride for a couple of days, so I really needed to be on the bike.

Today is a day I really felt like I let get away from me. Oh, well. There are 30 days in November, and not every one will be perfect.
