Story Cubes on top of The Lusiads by Luís de Camões (translated by William Atkinson)
Story Cubes on top of The Lusiads by Luís de Camões (translated by William Atkinson)

After a busy day, I laid down still wide awake. I counted wild sheep and tame sheep, black sheep and white sheep, white sheepdogs and black sheepdogs until finally I crossed the terra incognita that ends and begins in sleep. I landed on the shore of dreamland and found that wellspring of unsettling happiness in unsettled lands, a foreign continent of alien customs that is created anew with each trip. Once again, my shadow overshadowed myself. Next stop: Portugal.

I love this cover. There’s so much going on around the cubes that it’s like a busy dream enveloping and suffusing this week’s cubes. I let that creep in by leaving a gap for the little critter between the paratrooper and the snoozer.

The comments section is the perfect place for what you came up with. I’m sure you did better than I did this week!
